Eh. As long as BoB is coaching, our chance at winning anything is like 10% bc watson became godlike and overcome the incompetent coach.

Who do you feel worst about having their career wasted? Watt, A.J., or Watson? At least Nuk got out!

If he is self-aware he doesn't have thick skin, then he should definitely NOT come to the Texans, and he is actually not a dumbass.

Also, many players also take pay-cuts if they think they have a greater chance to win a championship. I'm sure BoB's coaching ability (not just his ability to get a long with players) was also discussed from Kareem to him.

    Watson career is too short.
Watt at least got individual production + many playoffs participation ribbons, it's still not to late to jump ship
A.J. spent his career with shtty, subpar/average QB, made it into playoffs twice + retired.

Texans don't have many great players, but they do know how to effectively waste it by being mediocre as possible as a franchise.

out of the 3 i feel bad for the one that retired with nothing to his name but 2 playoff participation and HoF stats via regular seasons.

This franchise take pride in having players with good character, but other than that don't really care if they do anything in playoffs, hell their main goal is braggin rights on winnin the AFC South.

I have a direct source here:

    Hopkins requested trade last month

There is some stuff about to come out soon about him. I don’t feel comfortable leaking.

I wonder if there was any consideration of signing Pierre Desir?

Unless he did a crime that will get him in jail, doesnt really justify the sht trade return for a player that gifted. Hell i rather we have him sitting on bench for any potential game suspensed than the trade the occurred.

He didn’t do anything bad. He wanted out of Houston due to what’s going on off the field.

Trading Hopkins (not necessary b/c holding out is now so punitive) and the return for Hopkins (direct comps available to show how abysmal it was) are two different issues.

I continue to see apologists try to explain the former b/c he would be “disgruntled,” but no one has even tried to explain the latter. BoB owes us an answer, which we’ll never get.

Hopkins is similar to an athlete who made his claim to fame in 1976.

    He is a great receiver.
