Doing this with 2 young kids. Spouse still work from work

How in the hell am I going to do this? I maybe did 2 video confs and marked up one thing yesterday. I'm going stir crazy and the house is a filthy mess. We just played "let's run 3 laps" in the backyard. A game where you run. 3. Laps. Yesterday they were rakefighting and eating fancy chocolate cause I couldn't deal.

Also trying to not panic about total societal/economic collapse and fiendishly checking internet's for news. And thus is day 2.

I consider just 1 beer before 5 to be a moral victory. 4 hours of TV time to be a triumph.

Day 1 here. I used to work from home three years ago, so I kind of had a work space already set up. Went to sit down in my office chair and the back fell out. Apparently my daughter and her friends have been using it as a merry go round for the last three years. Also, it seems that printers don't like 3 years of down time, so the ink jets are probably hopelessly clogged. Trip to Staples for a new chair, phone head set, and printer ink. Why doesn't Staples carry Lexmark ink or a generic equivalent? I don't know, it's a mystery. Back home, assemble chair (pretty painless), order ink on Amazon (won't deliver till Sunday), and make the mistake of opening my office trashcan. Let's just say Chinese wet markets don't have anything on what's been growing in there for the last 3 years. Add obsessive twitter/clutchfans itstheendofothewordasweknowit corona virus economic apocalypse surfing. All in all a productive work day.

Think I forgot to dump the water out of my RTIC tumbler before leaving last week. May be a science experiment whenever we go back.

Well if it makes you feel any better Sam, I could have written this exact same post, except that I do an ounce of bourbon in place of a beer. 4 y/o and 17 mo/o and I can't remember the last time they were both happy at the same time. Wife and I both trying to work full time remotely and do online school and watch the kids. We will be completely drained of all life within a month.

Our kids are grown up and we're retired, so I went through some of that a very long time ago. I don't envy you, Sam.

I’m a single dad with full custody of my 14 month old, her mom gets 2 hours of supervised visitation a week. I’ve raised her on my own since she was 2 months old with absolutely no support from her mother. She comes to work with me everyday but I have a unique work situation so she basically just rides around with me in my truck for a couple hours a day then we’re home for the rest. I love it but it can be exhausting. Not exactly “working” from home but keeping her occupied and everything else that comes along with keeping her happy and healthy is a full time job.

From what I read it is very unlikely to be transferred from food, unless bat is on the menu.

Absolutely, it's a full time job. We still have guys running around saying how easy "housewives" have it. Are there still some out there?
