If they do they're stupid though I don't think so. Harden never played this bad while McHale was here.
Who cares man MDA is like the prof who gives easy As. Players love him cuz he lets inmates run the asylum. Lebron didnt like or respect Spo but they won 2 rings and went to 4 finals together.
the best way to let a coach go is to do nothing but losing consecutive games, any insider?! maybe micro ball got players too exhausted to execute after the big W in Boston (actually even in Celtics game), i can't see any so-called 'switch everything' D which made our opps so stifling in the 6 W streak.
It's not that they don't GAF but are following Harden's lead. Harden seems to be devastated about something and playing mostly lethargically.
it doesn't make sense to let MDA go in this final stretch of season. any replacment won't change anything. a coach needs the whole summer to implement any system to the team.
Invite back our assistant defensive coach such as Van Gundy. Honestly, if we keep cp3 and caplea and then add buyout players like Jeff green, we can get the champion this year.
They have the last few games clearly. Their effort all season has been very inconsistent. That 15-16 season had some pretty rough stretches.
if they want him gone now, they're pretty stupid. And admittedly telling themselves they suck now. he isn't even signed beyond these last 2 months. what in the world is there to sabotage. lets waste another year on pretty much the oldest team in the league....ok if they wanted him gone they would have sabotaged him before the deadline so changes could be made. at this point there's no moves you can make so you're stuck with this team regardless. whatever has happened behind closed doors is on the players. whether they get out of this somehow, tells a lot of what many believed to be such a great locker room ("all time great" "never been better" takes on cf's)
Harden doesn't GAF if he did he wouldn't be turning the ball over 10 times and missing 80 percent of his shots. Don't care what he's being told to do. Players still are in control of making or missing and converting or turning over the ball.
It's starting to get annoying that Harden just stands outside and doesn't seem to try to even cut when he's off the ball. I totally understand that the part where he needs to stand out to open up spacing for the rest of the guys but when he's not making shots & standing way out by half court and hardly ever try to set picks & always the last to run back on defense & when he does he doesn't even try to smack the ****ers that are about to get open layout.. it's starting to get tiring to watch him w/ half a** effort and i've been defending him since his 1st year as a rockets. If he's hurt, sit his a** down, because he's not helping in any way w/ his sorry a** effort. and all that bs after game talk about we'll be alright we're not scared then do something about it. Playoff is fu*king around thecorner.
Don’t watch Harden. Watch Harden’s defender. Is his defender standing outside the arc looking at Harden? Is Westbrook dribbling inside the arc at same time? Is WB actually driving past and underneath Harden’s man? Answers to those question determine if WB is playing 4 on 4. When we can make the defense use only 4 defenders inside the arc (by simply using Harden’s gravity), that disrupts their normal defense, have same help assignments, and ability to play zones properly and execute good 5-man schemes. And it’s a basketball fact that less players is advantage to the offense. 4x4 is WHY Westbrook is having his best year ever. He’s been killing 4x4 defenses, due to Harden’s gravity.
This wouldn't really make sense. Did they want him gone when we went on a winning streak up to the Boston game? Why did that game pivot them against D'Antoni? Do we think that non-shooting Westbrook was the player D'Antoni really wanted to replace Chris Paul with? Do we think Harden didn't have some blessing on trading Clint to go small and build the team around his buddy Westbrook? There's a lot of factors here.
So in the last week and a half or so, the team after going on a winning streak and closing in on the 2 seed decided to give up on MDA. What happened? Did they suddenly get tired of winning? Did they have a meeting meeting behind closed doors and decide that MDA may get a new contract and say "F this", we need to stop giving effort and go on a losing streak? Maybe so. Interesting theories being thrown around here.
