I loved CP3 here. It is however the past now. Westbrook is the card we've been dealt now so all we can do is try to win with him. I never thought he was done. We just expected him to pick up the slack on both ends of the floor when Ariza and Luc left and Ennis didn't pan out. That wasn't going to work. Hoping this team beats up on everyone like they did the Warriors.
Luc was the best defender in the league at his position Ariza's advanced stats showed that he was the best wing defender in the league the year before we picked him up Nice try but these guys are just different. I do like all the pickups we have made Also Jeff green is not a good defender so that part makes no sense at all. In fact he was an all offense no defense guy earlier in his career.
frankly i'm just scared that MDA is gonna go with the wrong lineup generally. I'm not ready to anoint Jeff Green as Luc or Ariza. Carroll ...maybe.
Jeff Green is going to be a really interesting character moving forward. I'm hoping for the best, but can't put him on Ariza/Luc level. Maybe he will become ba playoff hero and change my mind.
Covington is way better then Trevor as a team defender but not as good as one on one . Covington is also a much better offensive player then Trevor and way bigger and stronger. Our team needs great team defenders to help Russ and James our on the weak side. He is the perfect fit here I feel like Carol has the potential to be a solid playmaker with the ball. In Atlanta he actually was thriving as a playmaker and showed enough he can be a solid link man in very short bursts. He is also rebounds well
I think Covington and Carrol are a better comparison to Ariza and Luc. But I have to say, probably better. Jeff Green is more like what we wanted Faried to be last year.
Cp3 got the same record without another superstar basically in okc. Rockets are nothing special as of right now! Jeff green has yet to prove anything for the rockets and Carrollton ain't even a statistic! Cp3 got major buckets in allstar and Russell/ harden barely contributed anything in all star game! Don't gotta mention ariza because ariza a world champion! Ariza been world champion for over ten years.

Nah Covington and Carroll are the new Luc and Ariza. Green is like a better version of what Kenneth Faried was supposed to be for us.
