The fact that there are people still saying the Rockets aren't fun to watch really blows my mind.

Five out, lots of ball movement, energetic defense--plus one of the most explosive players in Russ and the best scorer of the decade in Harden. Between Westbrook, Gordon and House we also have 3 players who could end up posterizing a defender at any time and our games are consistently uptempo.

What's not to like? If someone wants to say they don't like the Rockets, sure. But to call the Rockets un-entertaining? Blasphemy.

Simply because of the stigma that surrounds the rockets, dantoni, morey, and harden.

If the mavericks were doing this, they would be the most exciting team in the league and the jump and the ringer would be all over it.

McLemore does not like uncontested 3's. He prefers contested 3's so much he had Morey amend his contract. LOL

And Luka would be praised as the most unselfish player ever for allowing Porzingis to take over the offense at times.

Bingo. There are only 21 5x5s in recorded NBA history. Hakeem has 6 of them. The next closest is 3. Hakeem was also the closest ever to a quintuple-double and was arguably robbed of having a second quadruple-double by a double-reversed scoring decision. He did everything. (source)

He would have played more if he could buy a bucket.

Solid victory, man Westbrook and Harden clicking would take us to that next level right away! Covington with 3 steals and 4 blocks, can we get some highlights please? :)

Once his body is right (hopefully after the break) we can see both him and Russ both penetrate the bigs, get deep, suck the D in and give it to our spot up shooters.

Not just for two halves, but for all 48 minutes.

    ..wait

1-5 outside the lane last night, and 0-2 from 3. Not happy with the percentages, but 5 shots is better than 15.

It is absolutely amazing how much he's transformed his game so he could fit better with James and the Rockets culture. I never would have expected it, nor did I expect until I saw it myself just how much competitiveness and intensity he brings to this team. I had a coworker long ago, who was originally from SoCal, and was a rabid Westbrook fan while Westbrook was at UCLA. Kept claiming Westbrook was going to be a star in the league, but more than that, just liked watching him play. I understand it now, and I'm glad the Rockets have him.

Still wish he'd play both games in a B2B though.

Since we gone small our assists have gone way down. No more lobs and easy dunks without Capela I suppose. Still with two guys who can dish as well as Harden and WB it’s surprising to see all these under 20 assists a game box scores.

To be fair WB in OKC is not WB in Houston. Dude stopped hunting for rebs, padding stats and expecting his center to box out so he could get the rebs.

I mean if I was OKC fan I would be pissed WB knew how to play winning bball all along why didnt he do that with Paul George lol

Perhaps, although I wonder if it’s just that he has hit a bit of a wall with age/ability lately, one thing that was apparent last night was getting to the free throw line got him going, that is such a huge part of his game that has been suffering a lot lately. Everyone who isn’t a Rockets fan will b**** about it, but that was a welcome sight for those of us wondering what has been up during this extended slump. Getting to the line is critical for his game imo.

I still don’t get why hartenstein doesn’t play even if it’s just 10 minutes a Game. Just disrespectful and frustrating to be in that position. Really sad to see them throw him out there in trash minutes. He can still rebound and alter shots not to mention easy lobs.
