I havent been paying attention, but fans have been booing Philly during their losing streak. Plus, Embiid was maybe hinting at wanting to be traded.
I saw a tweet where they said he was boo'ed during the intros, but I couldn't hear much booing -- well, maybe at the beginning there was a bit. No idea -- maybe it doesn't translate well over the video or I have my boo filters on :
Man Zion's so much fun to watch. He doesnt seem like a young Lebron he seems more like a young and motivated Barkley, not only is he athletic he also has a great nose for the ball he had 6 offensive rebs for the Pels that's on top of shooting 58% from the field, 78% from the ft line and playing solid defense. I think he and Luka are gonna compete for most impactful rookies since Lebron he has certainly revitalized the Pelicans in a big way. It's just too bad I cringe every time he makes a play cuz he jumps so high, I'm always afraid he'll land wrong and tear something. I think Pells need to lock him up in the summer and get him to lose 20-30 pounds, otherwise we are looking 5-10 yrs of greatness tops before his knees give out woth his style of play.
