Udoh was probably visiting the Jazz because the CBA is suspended due to the virus. Also per the Windhorst podcast, the CBA might start again April 1st and the US players aren’t happy about it because it will not let them join an NBA team
yes I read it. So? It just says how much he LOOOOVED the Warrios (you can tell that a GSW fan wrote this). It didn't give any logical reason why Minny should waive him. He is cheap, young and under contract. What is it this new phenomenon now? Even scrubs refuse to report and want a buyout?? How about fullfilling your contract?
Not sure why directing your rant towards me, only responding to your question. The buyout was reported by Minnesota media.
Nope. I like Green too. Still capable of super nova shooting for 1 or 2 games a season. But should not be our first option, already 33 and aging fast. But still younger than Thabo. LOL
Dallas is favorite to land him. Why sign with Mavs to be a back up when you can be a starter on Rockets? Got to showcase for next contract and play for championship at same time!
Reason being, the coaches have approached you and said you are not likely to play the rest of the season. Therefore, asking for a buyout in order to seek an opportunity to prove that you belong, and to further take care of your family down the line. Sitting on the bench to end the season, and then being released after your contract expires is a potential disaster for a young Man trying to stick in the league. If your agent hears of an opportunity to get some visibility during the season, why wouldn't you seek that move when it costs your current team nothing? Hell, you might even give cash back so it is a win for both parties. TLDR: It's simply business, Tom.
Why would Minny do that? They aren't a win now team, and they aren't flooding with young talent. To dismiss a 22 year old young center without sparing him a second look for the rest of a lost season is incredibly stupid.
Because they want to free up the roster spot to look at another young guy that fits their system better. or They are not fans of Spellman after observing him closely for a few weeks. or Spellman is a bad fit in the locker-room. or You should get the point by now... "Incredibly stupid" huh? Next.
Or..the media report is bs. Or..Spellman is demanding a buyout. Rich of you to say that Minny will kick him out because he is a bad fit in the lockeroom , when he hasn't even stepped a single foot in the lockeroom.
Not sure why you are so adamant about those two being the only options, but the media reporting this is from Darren Wolfson. He covers the T-Wolves and is based in Minnesota.
Could be the first. Could be the second too. Rich of you to think that his locker-room habits are not known NBA wide already, especially from a guy like Gerson. If he is bought out, it isn't simply because "Minny is idiotic"... There could be some very valid reasons. But of course, Lord Malakas opinions are absolute! Everyone bow down to the certainty of Lord Malakas!
