Lord Rob is significantly better than Clint Capela. Watch tonight. :)

(Hell, Do we really think Stein is all that far from Clint?)

Then Ennis does a serviceable job of partly replacing Ariza and he’s dumped (with a pick) to save Tilman money lmao.

    Sell the team.

    1. Lolololololololol. Totally nailed the “comfortable with the roster as it is” token line @pippendagimp

    2. This fool MDA doesn’t even play 8 man rotations in the regular season. Morey saying he’s got 10 for the playoffs is genuinely an embarrassing quote. Even Morey doesn’t buy what he just said.

Rockets gave up the better player, the younger player, better injury history and a first round pick - just terrible overpay of a trade!

When *every* scenario that could go either way goes towards the house (in this case, getting under the luxury tax), you stop buying the spin. Fertitta spent too much money on the franchise and it is treating this asset the same way he does his other properties. Tilman is the kind of chump that will tout the remodeling of a 20 year old team jet while decimating the scouting, player development and coaching budgets. Tilman likes the flashy move to give the illusion of going all in, without having to. You know how you have enough assets to make moves like the Clippers did today? You spend money on the MLE and go above the tax line if you have to. You obtain good, but not great players like Moe Harkless so you have enough assets to move them for a better player when the opportunity rises when a crap franchise like the Knicks is having a fire sale. When a team on the cusp of a championship with a generational talent like Harden cuts back three years in a row, all you can conclude is that the owner is a fraud when he claims he is doing everything he can to win a championship.

Don't comment much but I am beyond frustrated, so hypothetically speaking ur saying we could have signed shump to what 11-13 mill range, then in the Westbrook trade added say grant ( what Denver get for him a first?) Imagine how great he would have been in this offense. Then in this trade deadline shipped shump with whatever to get Marcus Morris or Covington I mean harkless and shump is basically a wash right I'm sure we could have beat that package right, so essentially keeping our team intact with CLINT CAPELA, and a jerami grant, with a addition of either Marcus Morris, or Rob Covington? Wow let that sink in.. At this point I don't even know anymore, we just have the worst luck in the world. With absolutely no chance to improve in hardens prime.

What I do not understand is why we gave up a first. If we wanted to go under the lux tax wouldn’t trading capela and nene for roco straight up been good enough. Why give up another first to lose green?

its clear the goal was to reduce payroll as much as possible without bettering the team.

Say the roc just do the same trade without the first involved. We could’ve used two firsts and Eric Gordon this summer for someone like turner.

But no Tillman’s mandate is clearly to save him money. **** him and his family. They don’t deserve any of our good will, appreciation or money. Sucks that us htx ride or die fans get saddled with such an *******. Hopefully the gate starts pouring on him and he realized the sheer idiocy of his actions.

same thing we all were saying this summer. Very clear this is mandated by the owner to slash operating costs. This was even before the China fiasco. Htx deserves better than this clown.

Sounds like you fell for the BS reasoning of those moves, since they can’t just admit they are trying to avoid paying $$. The question is how many examples do they need to give you?

It sure aint now .... but damn , he dismantled a 65 win team and sold off every asset available to save money at the last two trade deadlines.

He has two MVP's on the team .... this isn't the time to be pinching pennies.

The spin is hilarious, notice he’s not claiming we are championship level team, because he knows we aren’t ... this is all setting up for Dantoni’s funeral as it will all be his fault in the end. Haven’t been overly impressed with many of Moreys deals/trades for a long time, always seems we are giving away far more than we get in return ...
