acquiring klove or thompson would take the team in 2 very different and interesting directions. i'd be pretty happy with either as long as we don't give up something stupid for them
This actually makes a ton of sense financially House / Harty for Bryant is a net increase of 5.1m, which leaves us under the tax still. Maybe even enough to add a buyout guy with some wiggle room. Westbrook Harden Covington PJ Bryant
Tristan Thompson? Any team with a significant rebounding disadvantage as big as ours, should welcome Tristan Thompson
I'm weary skeptical of his defense... really skeptical. What really stands out is that he shoots an astonishing 82% at the rim, a whole 10% higher than Clint this season. That is INSANELY elite finishing at the rim, DeAndre Jordan's most efficient season at the rim was 77%... Bryant has shot above 82% at the rim all 3 of his seasons. He has a little bit of a 3pt jumper but very low volume at only 0.5 makes per game, way better then nothing though, definitely shows he has the potential at developing a nice shot. His rebounding is solid, not elite like Clint, but a respectable rate for a center.
A healthy Bryant would be a huge acquisition for us. 22 year old Thomas Bryant (who is already showing signs of becoming a helluva player) playing with James, and being fully developed by the Rockets legendary Big Man Academy. Count me in.
I told a client of mine an agent will be bringing an offer for a condo of hers that I listed for her, and have not seen anything from that agent since they said they would bring it forward a couple days ago. I now fully understand how frustrated my client must be.
Bryant would be a real nice pick up. 7'6" wingspan, pretty fluid player, nice shooter, on a good contract, and would fit well here. That said I have zero clue why the Wizards would give up on him unless they are worried about his foot or something.
