We're 5M under the cap and have an extra spot. Who is our most likely buyout candidate? Specifically a big that can shoot. Also, this hasn't been mentioned much, but let's not forget that PJ Tucker and rivers are valuable assets that we can trade if it makes us better. The sixers could use shooting with Simmons and Embiid clogging up the paint. Is a trade focused around Horford and Tucker/rivers a possibility? He's a bad contract and bad fit in philly.
Point is when the owner and GM aren’t thinking basketball why we fans still act like there is a basketball move to save this.

Tucker would still be a trade asset for other teams. You just need to limit his minutes to like 28 to 29 minutes. I feel the reason he's been inconsistent this year is because he's been worked too hard. He could easily be good in another team at the small forward position and spot up on the corner. He still has good defense for the most part. I know he's nearly 35.... but if you limit his minutes and don't work him too hard, he could easily play at the top level for another few years.
Probably just as useful thread is to identify teams that are near or over salary cap to add player(s) plus pick(s) to help these teams maneuver under back under. Rockets have over $5M in cap wiggle plus plethora of TPEs. @BimaThug @heypartner @Nook
Fat Windy said Marvin Williams might get bought out. Others: DeMarre Carroll Ian Mahinmi Anthony Tolliver Tristan Thompson I'd take any of those guys.
I hope Morey can use Raptors case last year for reference, they do a good trade and win the champion finally
yea, I'm not expecting any buyout targets to save our season. We might as beg Faried to come back if we're this desperate.
