Since Rockets are getting back a 2nd rounder and have about $6M in space to spend look for them to bring in a $4M Center either through trade or buyout market. Kevon Looney for a 2nd rounder still could happen. Would save the GSW $30M in luxury tax

The matching part of the deal is up to the other 3 teams to deal with, if they went up in salary.

 

Denver fleeced this deal. Beyond dumb letting them get all that for basically nothing.

Not surprising that Morey got worked. Teams know Tilman is insane, so he has basically no leverage in negotiations. They know they can get more assets out of him.

Ok, now that I have gone through a couple of beer cans, I am beginning to like this trade.

I like Covington but we should have gotten more for Capela.

 

The people who waited 5 mins before overreacting are seeing that it's not quite as egregious as it previously looked. Bell isn't a world beater but he's got decent physical tools and would only be playing a few minutes a game anyway. Has the tools that rookie Clint once had at least. Then the low first was 60% offset by a high second. I expected more but it's aiiiiight.
