Sure but he's 6'3 and shoots 38% from the field. He scores on a worse efficiency then WB which makes no sense considering the system he is in.

His offensive hasn’t improved, I recently witness him take 2 dumb 3s with the game on the line. He makes really, really dumb decisions. All I keep hearing is how Harden needs space now you guys want to put Harden, Russ and Smart in the court at the same time? Don’t even get me started on Theis. Nothing serviceable about him. He should be the 3rd big of the bench.

I dont care man. His defense is that damn good. We could make him more efficient simply by having him take better shots. He's a winner and impactful imo.

The good thing about getting the Wolves Smart, is that we don't have to use any of our picks, and we could still pursue other deals.

Hes shooting 35% this year so they must not be that dumb. Thats really good enough to space for Harden, we can cut out those shots for him. We need defense. Hes that good. The Celtics are 3rd in the eastern conference dude, and one game out of second, hes absolutely serviceable.

    Yeah.. no.

have watched many Boston games and I 100% stand behind this.

Smart is a superb wing who defends 1-4, takes charges, plays with heart and who also can shoot 3s which Convington can not.
Also Smart isn't every other day injured.

wow so you watched one game?

His decision making has improved and Brad Stevens requires his players to make decisions on the fly.
Whereas in MDA's system you just have to pass the ball to Harden or Westbrook and space the floor.

if you are Boston or any other team and know Capela is on the "market', why'd you give up any of your core assets? Rockets likely gonna get hosed if they're desperate to trade capela.

Smart has been fairly money for them recently, but I did once post a scenario where Capela goes to Boston, Smart to Minnesota, Covington and Thies or Kanter to Houston (other players and picks being involved).

    We don't need Smart anyway.

Smart would be a great addition...only thing I like better with Covington than Smart is that Covington is taller, but Covington has gotten mad overrated on here

Sure you’re not going to “ just cut out those shots” he’s been taking those dumb shots for several years now. Smh keyword this year. I doubt he continues shooting 35% going forward.
