Let them sit, both soft tissue injuries. Much better to get into the playoffs healthy with a lower seed than worn out with a higher seed. I think home court is overrated and playoff success is usually driven by matchups.
let them rest. i don't care losing a few games in Feb. i'd love to have a fully healthy team in the playoffs.
If Clint can't go against Portland and MDA goes small again against big-ass-back-2-the-basket Melo and Whiteside, and it works, I'll give him all the props.
Rest them....its fine. Let the other team feel that pressure of losing to us without our best players.
This team bench goes from absolute ass to best bench in the league in a matter of 5 days. I am not sure what's real but yesterday's team offensively looked the best theyve looked all season and best defensive effort all season. Offensively was an open 3 or a drive and they were making them too. House looked great, Rivers as well and Ego was out of his mind. Seems like team is not as short on talent as we all thought or it was just a lucky night, Austin and Gordon should have the privilege of more on ball opportunity and creating for others including the bearded one.
portland wont take us lightly. unlike utah who is firmly in the playoff picture the blazers are fighting to get in. they will play just as hard no matter who is out there. ariza is a great pick up for them.
wish trailblazer competed w/ full squad, so that MDA as well as our role players got another chance showcasing what well-execution look like I got confidence in our GIANT KILLER squad.
The Rockets had no pressure on them. When the big 3 are playing, they are expected to win...that's the pressure. Yesterday they were expected to lose, so the pressure was off and they were free-stroking. Great job second string Rockets.
