Once Fiers starts pitching again... the A’s won’t be all that revering.

Mike fiers is a coward that should not be revered. He waited two years, accepted playoff money and the ring. He even used pine tar during his no-hitter. We should revere him? No thanks!

Fiers gonna have an ERA around 5.00 this year while multiple Astros are challenging each other for league MVP.

What if Fiers throws his 3rd career no hitter against the Astros this year? By the way it's been going since the WS it feels like it's bound to happen.

I’d be very careful not to call Fiers a rat if I were the Astros. He likely has more dirty laundry on the staff, it’s just that right now it implicates him And his future earnings, so he can say nothing, and the Astros are afraid to poo poo the no hitter, but when he retires if he has nothing to lose it’s all coming out. It’s borrowed time. Baseballs next big scandal will be doctoring the pitches which they should get out and ahead of today with a ton of memos and in the press. It’s a time bomb.

Also, suspending an entire team is plausible if they stagger the suspensions. Won’t happen to us, but the next team to get caught cheating could and likely will get dicked big time. That may be the Red Sox, so in some ways, going first may not have been so bad.

    Summarizing Keuchel’s comments yesterday:

The players knew it was wrong. They also knew every other team was stealing signs using tech. They assumed it would never blow up, not only because everyone was doing it, but because they assumed no players would rat.

Grandals comments were also telling: every team steals signs using tech. Stealing signs doesn’t guarantee an advantage.

I still think this whole thing is just lots of people having an axe to grind with Luhnow that had almost nothing to do with sign stealing.

Yeah I tend to agree. Fiers is an ass, who broke the club rules and now isn't saying crap about it when asked...Karma will come his way for sure...

I’m bathing in Dodger player’s tears. The players are more pathetic than their fans.

Justin Turner didn’t hit either. Maybe that’s why he’s mad.

Astros are the cheaters here. Dodgers are justified in complaining and being mad about it

This is predicated on the myth that Mike Fiers has a brain. He was a pawn in the media's scheme to declare nuclear war on the Houston front office after what was an acrimonious run that culminated in the Taubman outburst. Alyson Footer, Evan Drellich, Jeff Passan, Stephanie Apstein...the national media is pretty much united against us. They wanted to prove a point and they won't be done until Jim Crane is ousted to be honest. They're a petty group of people that make little money, so they want the pride of being able to pin an Astros pelt to their walls. That's all it is, really. Everyone cheated using technology in the 2017-2018 playoffs, and in order to avoid accusations they are now having to pile on in the collective denunciation of our team.

The Dodger quote on knowing they won a game despite us knowing every pitch was coming. Yet they've also said they constantly changed signals to prevent us from knowing.

That’s cute. I’m sure they enjoyed the celebration.
