we are all frustrated but lets slow down a little bit. laughing stock? we were one of the last 8 teams standing and won a division that had 2 team of the final 4 teams in the AFC. Before I get attacked by everyone saying "its people like you who are happy with winning the division and losing in the 2nd round that are the issue" I want to say I am not happy with that either but while that leaves us unsatisfied, it is a far cry from being a laughing stock of the league

Not familiar with him John. https://www.spokesman.com/stories/2020/jan/21/msu-assistant-coach-denarius-mcghee-leaving-join-h/ Montana State football is losing their second assistant coach in less than a week after the news surfaced on Tuesday that DeNarius McGhee is leaving the Bobcats to take a job with the Houston Texans. The news was confirmed by MSU head coach Jeff Choate on Tuesday evening. McGhee indicated that the official title of his new position has not yet been finalized.
Well, do you have faith that BOB is the man that can remedy those problems, and allow Watson to grow as a QB??
I'm sure it has something to do with the offense. Or maybe....BoB is gaining power of the GM and will give up power on the offense. That is what I think will happen. He knows he can do everything. IF he is following the Belichick model, Bill gave up defensive play calling and work as a CEO on the sidelines. There is no GM in NE. There are a bunch of advisors to Bill. We all know BoB is not the best X and O's coach as the Head Coach, If he gives up the offense so someone becomes the "true" offensive Co-ordinator....that will be a big change.
If what you're saying ends up being the path we're on, my main question would be what's the vision that's being sold to Cal?? As of right now, it's impossible to see what BOB's vision for this team is because he's either been A) bogged down with too much of the daily nitty gritty, and can't get out of the weeds or B) he has no vision for the future, and is simply flying by the seat of his pants. Either way, something has to give because we simply cannot allow Deshaun's prime to pass without REAL results (conference championships and Super Bowls).
Hopefully they bring in an OC that can teach Watson how to read the blitz, throw from the pocket consistently, become more accurate.
Doesn't mean you cant upgrade. Let's just do the same thing for another decade because they're scared of what's happened in the past. That's a sure way to win a championship. SMH.
