As much as I dislike Adam Schiff, he really is good in his arguments.

Make no mistake about it, I want to hear from everyone, from Bolton to Biden. And I hope we do. But the obvious thing that the senate republicans can rest their case on is that is the House's responsibility was to provide the evidence and the case should've been made before sending over the articles to the senate. If they didn't rush it, they could've easily got court rulings by now. The choice not to subpoena Bolton, never made sense to me. Sure, he was going to wait on a court decision regarding executive privilege, but that would likely be settled by now. I think it was tactical stupidity by Nancy, to rush it for the reasons she gave.

Can you post to the D&D from an Apple watch? I saw a tweet somewhere that some senators are wearing.

Also, is Justice Roberts the douchebag who made the deciding vote that a corporation or PAC has the same campaign contribution rights as an individual? I remember Obama and him jawing at it after one of Obama's state of the nation address.

Except if you actually went to law school, you would hopefully know that it is the prosecution that needs to prove its case, not the defense. The defense only needs to establish that the prosecution has not sufficiently proved their case.

And the Earth will combust into flames in less than 12 years and life as we know it here will be eradicated in horrifically violent fashion, if we do not completely submit ourselves to the domineering control of the Democrat socialist left into every aspect of our lives.

    {Yawn}

    Give it a rest.

In a criminal trial. This is a political trial.

And even in a criminal trial. Was OJ exonerated? Honestly?

If OJ was acquitted, then he was formally and officially exonerated. The consensus of the TV news led, Democrat left social media mob, of which you appear to be an enthusiastic participant, means no more than a decaying pile of dog feces when it comes to this question.

Likewise, if Trump is acquitted, then he will be officially and formally, permanently and forever, completely exonerated.

And if you think that President Trump is not going to use that as a weapon to rhetorically beat bloody whoever the Democrat's nominee for president is in a severe and merciless manner, you very likely have another think coming.

I don't like them or the way they're behaving (putting Trump above all else, even their own ideals), but I don't see them losing the Senate, and even the Presidency is 50/50, warts and all. The electoral college map is basically built, in modern times, to deliver a split in plural versus electoral vote verdicts. It's all crazypants.

Oh, you're a whole different kind of Trump breed, huh? Fire and brimstone? Dog feces? Permanently and forever (will have "impeached" attached to his name...)? Beat bloody?

Oh nevermind, I think I see you third from the right in that cartoon @T_Man just posted.

The dude is a crook. OJ was a crook. Both are obviously guilty. If you think either are exonerated, in anyone's minds, you need to quit kidding yourself and get a reality check.

I'm not pro Dem. I'm not pro Repub. I'm pro getting some people into Washington that actually give a damn about the populous and less about greed and looking good on TV. I'm also pro calling a spade a spade.

I don't know if this will hurt Republicans in the end. But this certainly doesn't help them. This makes them look bad.

These are the kinds of things that might erode their support as well as fire up the opposition against them.

The Democrats (for once) seemed better prepared and did a much better job of presenting their case.

To me, I think they'll always have their ardent, fiery supporters (like the post a few above), but I think it does sway the on the fencers.

I will probably purposely vote straight democrat, to prove a point, even though I don't believe in them either. What they need to do is to stay away from the far left leaners and put as centrist a candidate as they can muster up for the election and I think they'll win in a landslide.

I know I'm beating a dead horse here, but I think Yang was/is the perfect candidate. If he had the whole party's support, and the press, I think he would crush the election. It's too bad it won't happen. Hopefully he'll be there in 8 years. I wish he'd get a VP nod, but I don't think he'd get even that.

I'm really going to have a hard time voting for someone that wants to raise the minimum wage, but woe is me.

trump will never be exonerated. In fact, more info will come out (hence mcconnell's rush to have this cover-up), and trump will continue to corrupt the office. And you well know it... hence your response.

The 30-40% of Americans that support trump will continue to do so. With hope the 50-60% who don't, along with those that will come away with this cover-up will flush trump and those that enable and cover up for him.

If that's your hope, be prepared to be sorely disappointed.

I've been listening to the coverage and it is sad to see the President's defense continue to bring up the false argument about the "secret" hearings. As Schiff correctly pointed out Republicans were allowed in and had equal time. I noticed they continued to bring up even after he pointed that out.

So far the defenses strongest argument is that this should be decided by the upcoming election. That is a strong political argument and one that isn't based on a falsehood or mischaracterization of the Constitution such as that the courts should have a say in this matter (the Constitution explicitly leaves the sole power to impeach to the House) like their other arguments.
