The problem with the Rockets has always been obvious --

    Too many low FG% (inefficient), high volume shooters!

    Eric Gordon has to go! He has shot 40% during his tenure with the Rockets... that just isn't good enough.

    McLemore was another guy brought in who shoots... 42%!

    Bringing in Westbrook was never going to improve on this, just make it worse! But hey he has the x factor and will win you a game every once in a while so give him 40 mil. There's no getting rid of him!

    The same mistakes are made over and over again by "genius" Morey. Clippers are doing great with Beverly Harrell and Lou Williams having career seasons.

    Clint Capela is the only player with any trade value - if you can get DeAndre Jordan on the team, he is absolutely expendable! DeAndre might be a rental, he might not. But he can be had for cheap and Capela can bring in ACTUAL ASSETS, something this team needs. Rockets are not in a funk, they are exposed for what they are.

    Team needs talent not praying for D league all stars like House to light it up. Trade Gordon and Capela for the most value you can get (no one else will bring anything), make sure you get DeAndre Jordan to replace Capela even if it's short term, and give Harden a chance to win it all. As things stand it would be a miracle to get out of the first and this has been true throughout the season.

    Might need to start cutting salary.
    Will need to trade contracts . .. . dunno if we could get overly worse.

    Capela is dunking or rebound .. beyond that. . is wack
    He is not a top 5 center in this league
    He has the potential . . but he is not

    People still don’t know that Gordon can’t be traded this season? Lol, smh...

    DJ is making 10 mil this year, so we will be matching his salary with what that BK would be willing to take? Keep in mind that 1 of the major reasons BK even signed DJ in the 1st place is because of his great relationship with Kyrie and KD.

    McLemore/House/Tucker/Rivers -- All hesitate on taking their shots
    The Ball gets to all of them with no one around
    They either hesitate or their wind up is so long .. that the defense recovers
    and it is now a more contested shot .. or they pull it down and try to reset or drive

    None of them can dribble that well
    None of them can pass that well

    I don't expect the shooters FG% to be great because all their doing is shooting threes. Look at their 3P% instead.

    Imagine if Reddick signed with us that one summer and we traded EG for a useful player. The system might actually make sense with a 40% sniper on the court.

    Even a one dimensional guy like Korver - signed by the best team in the league Milwaukee - is shooting 41% from three this season and is a career 44% 3PT shooter. No Rockets non stars come close to this, and the star Westbrook is the most inefficient of all. 23% on 5 three's a game.


    Everyone knows Harden is a superstar but Morey has failed him by being too scared to put the obvious kinds of players around him and playing the "you shoot from this part of the court, you shoot from that part, the stats add up, don't hesitate". . . dantoni and harden are not the problem. Tucker is the only guy who works in the starting lineup.

    Not 1 Rocket in the top 50 for 3P%..

    Buddy Hield is 27 now, Nemejna Bilic is 30+... both great shooters, maybe the Rockets have a chance with the Kings?
    Joe Harris in Brooklyn has been very consistent ..
    There are plenty out there who aren't all stars and can be useful role players, morey needs to accept what the team actually needs.

    You could bring in a 70% 3P shooter. D’Antoni will bring him down to 3 of 28.

    DJ had a great relationship with the guys in Dallas for a while too. Doesn't mean anything in this league! Having KD back isn't going to make them an automatic contender.

    Please don’t compare “the guys” in Dallas to KD and Kyrie. U didn’t answer who we would giving to BK to match the 10 mil he’s making this year.
