This isn’t even accurate and is an obvious dishonest post to try to paint Harden in a negative light. Young, Harden, Doncic, Lillard, LeBron all top the time of possession list this season, What do you know? Teams think it’s a good idea that dominant offensive forces control the ball a lot.

There has been only one season in Hardens career where he was alone on an island in terms of ball dominance compared to the rest of the league. That was last season. He’s had several years in Houston towards the top of the league but there’s always been plenty of others in the league right there with him.

Yeah it doesn’t work. Rockets average 53 wins a season since harden arrived and the worst finish was the 8th seed. Been to the WCF twice, semis three times . Only had one season with less then 50 wins . Really terrible

All the haters have this "ring or bust" mentality with the roster surrounding Harden LOL. I swear no one was complaining when HOU was no. 1 in the west, had a solid 9 man rotation, and shots made were consistent.

I thought he was only trailing and staying behind because of potential fast breaks, not that he could catch anyone.

Goal is not 50 wins - aim higher.

    That statement doesn't make sense.

"yeah considering that team is no longer here. well....that should tell you...." [this isn't that 65 win team that was #1 in the west]

Seems like you were implying something else.

Honestly I love James Harden and his game but I see what everyone is saying in terms of leadership and his lack of it. I’m not sure with the way this team is currently constituted if the Rockets ever win a championship. Not sure what the Rockets can do outside of trading Harden for someone like Ja Morant and building around him.

Irrelevant - that is the goal - 50 games a season is for people that don't have high expectations, while the goal should be championship - 50 wins does not mean you are a true contender.

I agree - that aiming to be a TRUE contender top 4 - should be the goal - as then you are in the mix.

We are not in the mix.

underachieving in the playoffs. They will get bounced early again. It’s definitely not working.

Tilman Fertitta is not a real owner and never will be.

Tilman Fertitta rents the team and uses it for profit. Tilman Fertitta is a team renter, not a team owner. He is a peasant, not a lord.

NOW see this is what Im talking about. You say something about Hardens leadership then follow up with "its the way the team is constructed". Even you fools know youre wrong while youre saying it lol Youre right its the way the team is constructed and we need more talent. Harden is only one piece of the puzzle.

Dude Harden isn't a on court leader. On court leaders don't stand still on transition defense routinely.

All the great all time guards who are considered leaders do a lot of the "hustle" work that role players usually do such as dive for loose balls, chase down fast breaks etc. Jordan did it. Kobe did it. Wade did it. Harden doesn't have that hustle in him. He cares about getting his points.
