I think you need to qualify your last sentence to mean defense. Yeah, whenever Harden is fully engaged, he is a joy to watch. That inconsistent effort to play both offense and defense is Harden's achilles heel. Without CP3's presence demanding that players play with more intensity, lackdaisal effort is more pronounced. Your teammates will follow your best player, and if the star player does not give 100%, you can best believe they won't either, especially if all they do on offense is to stand around, most times.
