While Westbrook has missed 6 games and isn't playing both games of back-to-backs. The main point I used to convince myself this trade was okay was that CP3's health was degrading and was no longer reliable. It would be wishful thinking to say he could play even 65 regular season games and you get nervous he'd get hurt again in the playoffs. Plus, Westbrook is about 3.5 years younger than him.

Instead, Paul is suddenly able to play every game (averaging the same minutes as last year) while Westbrook is getting the load management treatment like he's Chris Paul! You can't make this stuff up.

It only takes one missed game at the right time.

I dunno but Paul seems to be happier playing alongside Shai Gilgeous Alexander and Steven Adams.......just a hunch.

    Hindsight is always 20/20.

Didn’t CP3 play all or most of 2017 before his hammy started acting out?

lulz...he got injured very first game of the season, and sat for 14 games, after.

[edit] it was preseason, and he tested it first game, then sat 14 games.

That doesn't mean much when he got injured in bascially (if not literally) everyone of his last 6/7 seasons...then again, Westbrook is still 4 years younger, that difference is the only positive aspect i reconize about the trade, fwiw.

Really? I don’t remember 2017 starting like that but I’ll take your word for it.

So then CP3 making half way through a season without is somewhat anomalous?

Remember we beat GSW opening day national TV, at Oracle to ruin their ring celebration of their 16-1 romp to title? After methodically executing for a 13pt lead at end of 3rd, with commentators bored ... Paul leads early charge to start 4thQ comeback.

    But, he can’t finish game

    Bam — 14 games missed.

And foresight is definitely not, which is why it's strange that people here were proclaiming that Chris Paul is done.

And people here hate Tilman but work overtime to justify the Westbrook trade.

It's a confusing time to be alive.

Must something wrong with the training staff if our players are getting injured all the time since the Dwight era.

I thought someone told me Houston has the best doctors in the world?!

I hate Tilman for not letting Morey wait out Presti and get a 2nd player with the salary matching room available in trade, and work overtime being a fan of what we have.

    It’s really not that confusing.
