No pass rush but so much money tied up in Mercilus, McKinney, and soon Cunningham none of which can rush worth a damn. And we were a bottom 5 run defense too. How did any of these guys make the pro bowl? Well as alternates anyway. If you drop Roby and Hargreaves we should go after Byron Jones.
They can rush really well just Romeo doesn’t like to blitz. McKinney is a good blitzing middle LB and merci and Cunningham can as well.
That’s huge. I also think Reader walks as well we shouldn’t get into a bidding war for him. Byron Jones will fit well here also with Conley and Lonnie who all have good size and Hargreaves if he still here can cover slot.
Roby must want insane money. Not sure Why when your secondary is that bad you let the best corner go.
