I was able to easily suspend my disbelief and enjoy the movie. It was definitely long. But I liked it a lot and I'll definitely rewatch who knows how many times, as with all Scorcese movies.

Hah, my attention span broke it up into four chunks.

It grew on me in the second half

I like this idea. You could also just cut out episode 4.

The only time the movie felt "long" was after Hoffa is murdered. From that point on, it felt like the point of the movie had been served and the rest was just filler.

Aside from that one nit, I really enjoyed the film. Probably an 8.5 out of 10 overall.

After watching it, I looked up some information on the real Frank Sheeran. Although there is a conflict about who actually killed Joey Gallo, I found it fascinating that in real life that Don Rickles was invited to that dinner and would have either been a witness to the murder or been shot himself.

Every 30 seconds in this film is masterful, If you know what you are looking at.

You know when a movie is not good? When I have ZERO interest to ever watch it again. Not even on a 16 hour plane ride.
