Again, getting 1 vote out of total 650 votes is too small a sample size to be a valid support for any arguments. One voter just happened to like him better than Kyrie or Bulter, or it can be just a casual vote. Even Harden got several all-defensive first team votes last year, that doesn't make him a top 10 defender.

We can argue whether Kawhi was a top 20 player that year, but getting 1 last place MVP vote shouldn't mean anything.

If gobert led his team to two NBA championships, was clearly the best player on the team offensively and defensively AND won two finals mvp. Why not?

Back in the 90's many would argue (and some still do) that David Robinson had superior regular numbers/performances than Hakeem.

But noone would argue that Robinson was the superior player because of the simple fact that in the nba, postseason performances/results matters a ton more than big regular season numbers

I didn’t only note that he got one MVP vote. I’ve stated numerous times that he led the team in scoring and won DPOY. He was their best player on both sides of the ball. Role player he was not. Again, guys have made the HOF because of their defense.

Kerr can't stop thinking about Harden. His wife should be worried.

And so should Steph, he's a b**** flopper too.

This is all hot air unless he has specific evidence of what he's talking about. Old moves like rip-throughs and arm-flailing fool the officials. Forcing contact with players and fooling the defenders is not the same as fooling the officials.

I bet he'd like to see more "pure" basketball like Klay Thompson being able to run up under 3-point shooters with no repurcussions.

After such a dominant December from James it will be amazing to see the mental gymnastics the NBA will go through to justify Luka or Lebron winning WC player of the month.

Harden has the superior stats over both and the Rockets went 10-4 in his 14 December games. Can't wait to see how they justify their BS this time lol

I wonder if Kerr is at all concerned about refs letting certain star-power teams get away with illegal screens on about the half the plays they run.

    I'm guessing no.

Steve Kerr sure does a lot of talking...dude has been carried his whole career...1st by MJ, and then by Curry-Klay-Draymond-KD...stfu, and stop trying to police the game

people really need to stop comparing the NBA to pickup basketball between regular dudes...there is no reward for drawing fouls in pickup, that is why u won’t see anyone doing what Chris Paul does for example

it’s obvious that this is shade towards Harden since Harden seems to occupy this clown’s every thought when it comes to basketball

the refs have been reffing James Harden for a decade...for damn near 1000 games...if Harden was “fooling” them, they would’ve caught on years ago unless they’re all brain dead...they watch film, so they would’ve seen Harden “tricking” them and stopped falling for it ages ago...dummies need to accept that Harden is getting legit fouls, that is why he keeps leading the league in free throw attempts...all the refs can do is choose to stop calling these fouls on James which they have done ever since the protest of the San Antonio game, but no ref would ever say with a straight face that Harden isn’t actually getting fouled all the time because he is

    Kerr is full of it.

It isn’t just on offense where players attempt to fool the officials, players do it on the defensive end as well.

Further, the overwhelming percentage of times they ARE fouls. If anything the officials miss fouls.

So Kerr isn’t asking for the rules to be tweaked, he wants to change the definition of what is a foul in the NBA.

He is also the same guy that wanted credit for “innovative ways to defend Harden” when the exact way he defended Harden has been done a number of times.

Harden is that dude who got an A on the exam while the rest of the class got a C, D, or F, so everyone starts saying that he must’ve cheated

no one can draw fouls like Harden...no one can get to the line as frequently as him, so it must be because he’s “fooling” or “tricking” the refs

    foh...

Doesn’t help when a Dbag like Kerr is posing and moaning like he didn’t do much when the whole China/Morley thing went down. It is weird how much he constantly seems preoccupied with Hardens ability to score and “create contact” as he seems to think. James isn’t getting to the line nearly as much as he was the first 10-15 games and yet he is still putting up circus numbers most games. I think Kerr is a decent guy but he’s having to actually coach this year and we see how that’s going. All that’s said I damn well how we destroy them in our remains 3 games with them.

See, the thing with Kerr is he’s not concerned at all with the game. He’s being disingenuous. Here’s why:

He never talks about his own players when he makes these statements or remarks. They are always coated in overall concerns about the sports, yet clearly speaks about individuals. He actually always uses names so it’s baffling how people buy it.

In other words: he’s using his status as a well respected coach, analyst and player to influence the league for his own benefit. Rarely does anyone call him out on this and it’s like everyone is buying his overall story, yet overlook the nuance.

Kerr is a clever, but very devious snake and has a become a smug person with the biggest ego in the league.

If he one day acknowledges how his donkey gets preferential treatment or his team has tried to injure Harden because he doesn’t have a plan to defend the master of the craft, then he’ll get my respect back and I’ll believe he’s sincere about his dislike for the sport in current state.

Until then, I’ll keep laughing at these comments and especially the people who buy this good guy who has a point act.

I am no fan of Trump, but I loved when he called out Kerr for being a scared little boy. :D
