Rockets are probably the team most people want to play in the playoffs because they are so inconsistent and any lead isn't out of reach. We allow easy buckets that keep teams in the game. You can make excuses that we lost because 3 starters didn't play. GSW could've used that excuse on Christmas but look how that turned out. Our team gives low effort due to a lack of heart and a weak mentality.

I think we are contenders but certainly The MDA deficiencies just makes us a failure waiting to happen. The players are good but leadership and development from the coaching staff is lax. On our own broadcast we can see the Pelicans coach campaigning the refs and coaching his team but we never see Mike do nothing but complain when a call doesn't go our way
Ehh..... The Rockets are very flawed and have personnel issues to address. Having said that, it really isn't the front office that has let down Harden or the fans, it is ownership for a number of reasons that have been discussed before. While the Rockets are flawed, I will say this.... I have not been impressed by the Western Conference. While there are a lot of good teams, there is no one that has really impressed me. The Lakers are also very flawed and beatable. They are not as good as their record. The Clippers are likely the most talented team, but they have motivation issues and they are not well constructed. The Mavericks are the best coached team in the Western Conference and are capable of pulling an upset or two in the playoffs, but they also are not as talented as some. The Nuggets have interior issues defensively. My point being that the West is wide open and the Rockets are one of 4-5 teams capable of coming out of the Western Conference. The trade deadline will tell us a lot. Also the Rockets just added a key piece in Gordon.

No. I don't think many teams want to play the Rockets in the playoffs. The Rockets are certainly beatable (as is every single team in the West) but the Rockets and Clippers are the two teams no one wants to draw early in the playoffs. If the Mavericks end up being the 4-5 seed, no one will want to draw them either.
The Mavericks are super dangerous. Matchup wise its bad for us we need to fall between seeds 1-3 to have the best position. Anything else will surely end our playoff run

No, I assure u teams would much rather play the likes of Utah, Denver, Portland, etc before facing the Rockets. the Rockets have been smashing everyone not named GS in the playoffs since MDA arrived, and they were this close to going up 3-2 against the Spurs in 2017 despite being the worse team and not having HCA...nobody looks forward to facing the Rockets, don’t let these occasional losses to bad teams fool u... the Rockets energy and focus when facing the elite squads is consistently on another level...yeah, they play around with the likes of the Cavs, Wizards, etc...well guess what, we won’t be seeing those teams in the playoffs I only care about how they play against scrub teams due to seeding purposes, not because it tells us much of anything about their championship chances...the win against the Clippers, the close loss against the Clippers, the win at Toronto, etc...those games told me more about the team than all the games against these scrub teams combined...
Let’s relax. We are yet to play one game with all of our starters plus a HEALTHY Eric Gordon. Remember the few games he played the start of the season he was basically playing half injured. If we see the real EG (shooting plus best perimeter defender) we are used to, this team will be a lot better than we have been, I swear. It’s like clippers without Williams, you’re gonna lose games when your third best player isn’t playing. I ain’t ever losing hope for this team.

Good thing we won't play GSW and Sactown in the playoffs. We always play up to our competition. The only time we weren't competitive against a contender was Denver who thoroughly outplayed us.
