Giannis played 28 because he was in foul trouble and eventually fouled out...same with Bev Kawhi played 28 because he had missed some games, and his body can’t seem to handle a full regular season...he played 40 minutes against the Rockets last game, and then immediately had to start doing load management the Rockets are also shorthanded at the moment this thread is dumb as hell 4th quarter defense matters, and so does 4th quarter reffing...Clippers couldn’t get to the line all night, and then the minute the 4th quarter starts, they got 5 Hardens on the floor...
Under MDA, absolutely, I think Harden rounding out to midseason form by November, earlier than normal. Normally by December.

I'm still convinced Dantoni and Morey have the same philosophy on defense.. and that is it isn't important as long as we're still jacking up 60 threes a game. We just happened to have good defense that one year because we had 3 point shooters who also happened to play solid defense (Luc, Ariza, PJ, CP3). Now that 3 of those guys are gone and we haven't replaced that defensive skillset, we're basically just a team that jacks up a ton of 3s with piss poor defense. This way of relying so heavily on the 3 pointer and refusing to take any 2s clearly doesn't work at the NBA level. It won Morey his "rings" in the D-League so now he's convinced that it will work when in fact, it has come to eliminate us in the playoffs when we go ice cold.
