    Make no mistake about it.

If MeMac or any other player in the league could do what Harden is doing, they wouldn't even blink twice about doing it.

    But they couldn't and cant.

If Tracy said "Harden plays like ME in the playoff so that's why he can't win a championship" I would have bought that.

Now I'll give the talking heads on Sirius credit in answering that one. Most everyone on there disagrees with that sentiment and gives Harden credit as being among the few (if there are any others) who could take the beating that much usage requires. Antonio Daniels at least is real about it. He even says that it's ok to say you don't like that style of basketball, but don't mistake that for it not being an amazing feat what he does night after night. He also agreed with Westbrook when Russ said it's gotten to the point we just take his stats for granted now.

The reason that I hate the “championship or bust” topic is because Harden very well could have a championship if it wasn’t for one of the greatest teams to ever be assembled. We took a KD, Curry, Thompson, and Greene team to a game 7, and would have faced a much less talented Cleveland team. Then all of this “This way would never win a championship” talk would be dead. Let’s face it, “that way” almost beat one of the best teams ever put together.

We get so caught up in whether the team won it all or not, that we forget that in different years, you have teams like the KD warriors winning it, and a Leonard Raptors team winning it. The talent gap between those two are tremendous imo. KD didn’t play, Klay got hurt late...

I just hate the championship or bust crap.

Me-mac took 24 shots a game during his best season in Orlando and only averaged 32 points a game.

On the bet itself, T-Mac is close to getting a free meal. He could have stopped there, no need to throw shade.

McGrady critiquing Harden's game is like Brett Ratner giving Martin Scorsese tips on directing a movie.

TMac can't even get out of the first round.

    Pathetic.

    I just watched it...

What a STUPID comment. "people will figure out how to stop Harden in the playoffs" - which team has knocked out the Rockets in the playoffs? 4 of the last 5 years it has been the Warriors.
What was Houston's playoff record vs the Durant Warriors compared to all other teams? (hint, much better).
The one other loss was when Harden has no star support.
And it was 4 seasons ago.

Just because he is an unstoppable scoring machine now does NOT mean that other teams will magically stop him in the playoffs. Just because the ridiculously stacked Warriors beat the Rockets does NOT mean that other teams will magically stop him in the playoffs. It can definitely work. Hoping for good health this post-season for the Rockets, and a championship to prove the naysayers wrong.

I don’t like what he said but y’all are being too hard on him. It’s not really his fault his body broke down. The human body probably isn’t meant to be pounded on the way pro athletes do. I think I remember reading how TMac has one leg shorter than the other which throws his alignment off. It was bound to happen. People ITT basically calling him a loser is too much. He should not criticize James though. He has not had the same amount of talent around him since he has been here in Houston as other stars. James is 100% good enough to be the best player on a championship team. Most people agree injury kept us from a ring

Deep down we know he is somewhat right. Harden needs a little more help! Fertita needs to open his wallet.

His body didn't break down in the 2005 playoffs, just his will to win.
