    Thank the Heavens!! They just rambled on like idiots. I did like one or two guys, Terry as sideline reporter was solid.

    I wonder what happened.

    To completely scrap it seems strange. Couldn't even tell that TNT had any inkling of changing the format, with the way PO was such a part of the NBA programming.

    They were the worst of the worst, unbearable to listen to. Instead of following the game, they were rambling and ranting on about the "good old times" :rolleyes:

    TNT’s ratings were way down last year and some of the worst they’ve had for NBA games in 12 years. Guessing the info and feedback pointed to “Players Only” tanking ratings.

    Only time in my life where broadcast quality actively chased me off due to simple incompetence. S**t was always unwatchable.

    I'm glad to learn I wasnt the only one who couldn't stand it. Isaiah Thomas was an idiot when he was on. So was some the other former players. It always sounded like they really had no clue what they were talking about and they would make dumb mistakes.

    TNT’s Tuesday Night coverage will feature an all-new look during the 2019-2020 season. After a two-year experiment, TNT is dumping the “Players Only” telecasts that featured former stars like Grant Hill, Derek Fisher, Kevin McHale, and Richard Hamilton.

    If the deal is finalized, Haynes would be part of TNT’s revamped Tuesday Night cast which is expected to include Ian Eagle and Brian Anderson as play-by-play announcers; Adam Lefkoe of Bleacher Report as studio host; and Dwyane Wade, Shaquille O’Neal and Candace Parker as studio analysts.

    Yahoo has given him the green light internally to take the TNT side job, said sources. Haynes could not be reached. TNT declined to comment Monday.

    Players only wouldn't have been bad if they hadn't filled the spot with numskulls.

    For example, why would anyone in their right mind include Kendrik Perkins on a TV/radio talk show???

    Why?? Just why??

    Kendrick Perkins has a hard time putting two sentences together.

    Why would anyone care about what he has to say??
