First it was team USA's debacle and now he confuses everything with his head coaches by putting Tim Duncan in charge when he got ejected.
Now his team is under .500 in how many years has it been
I think it's time he's done put a fork in him.
The Becky hammon thing was very egregious. If he can't trust Becky hammon and 1/2 of a game how will any other franchise going to trust her it was just really bad.
for all the good he done for women in men's basketball he just set them back long way by doing that.

It's pretty bad. What's Becky supposed to do at this point he undercut her entire reputation even with the players that are on the team.
It's something like an old man would have done that's in the stages of get off my lawn.
Frankly Tim Duncan had no business coaching that team.

Tbh i didn't follow that situation at all so i don't know what to say, what i can say is that i think the Spurs are probably about to be forced to rebuild unless they trade for CP3.

I kinda thought the same thing, but then I noticed this thread was created by you. I am now convinced Pop is ahead of every single coach in the game and will find a way to win the championship this year.

Last time Spurs had a losing record through 13 games, they won the title in 1999.

Table lists losses over game 1 through 13.

I hope he leaves the Spurs and joins the Rockets.

He wouldn't be opposed to it since he loves Harden.

Popovich is the Belichick of the "NBA," just as Belichick might be the Popovich of the NFL. Getting the maximum ability of players that other teams cannot or overlooked players.

If we had Popovich, we probably have 2-4 extra titles.

I can say it with 100% confidence that if you give Pops a team with a prime Harden to coach, he will get him at least one NBA championship ring, most likely more than that....

....for a number of reasons but the most important being that Pops would not have let the refs get away with what they got away with against the Warriors in Game 1 of the series last playoffs. Pops would have taken a tech and would have protected Harden. You bet they would have started calling fouls on Klay when he was not giving Harden his landing space on his 3s. Klay, the dirty liltte ****, got away with murder that game and was purposefully trying to hurt Harden.

I do not wish injury to players but I am glad karma came back to bite that little b****'s ass later in the playoffs. I would not cry a tear for him if he never fully recovers.

Mike D is a coward and does not know how to play the ref game.

With Stephen Curry Broken hand, Klay Thompson Knee, Draymond Green Finger, Kevin Durant Achilles, Andre Iguodala on a bad Grizzlies team.

Golden State worst NBA Record I have no sympathy towards them whatsoever. Personally I really hope they keep getting injured. The way they injured James Harden, Clint Capela and our players. They deserve the Worst.

All it takes is a dumb trade by a struggling team that seem to happen, quite often in the NBA.

Yeah... a bad start doesn't mean anything by itself.

But he did completely BLOW a potentially historic moment. He didn't need to make a statement. He just had to follow his prestablished chain-of-command. Popovich is a total a-hole, but I don't think he's sexist. He speaks out very bluntly with a liberal attitude on a lot of political issues, and he also hired Hammon in the first place. I KNOW that Popovich wouldn't hire anyone he didn't trust. The guy is the epitome of stubborness.

If he wasn't stubborn he wouldn't be one of the best coaches in NBA history.
