They are currently 4-0 and one of two remaining undefeated teams early in this season. Last season they were 31-15, finishing with the 5th best record (out of 20 teams) in the CBA. They were 18th in scoring and 1st on defense in the league.

You know I love Matt Maloney...but if you compare their stats in their best playoff year with the Rockets, you get this:

Maloney: 11.2ppg, 3.1apg, 2.4tpg, .399 fg%, .398 3pt% --- 32.9mpg
Lin: 11.3ppm, 4.3apg, 2.2tpg, .410 fg%, .217 3pt% --- 29.5mpg

So statistically, Lin played better in just about everything except 3pt shooting. And yes, of course Maloney's team won more playoff games, but you would expect that when your teammates are The Dream, The Glide and The Round Mound of Rebound...would take any of those three over The Beard, let alone all three.

Matt Maloney as bad as he was, actually contributed in one playoffs run and made some big shots. He went up against one of the best PG in the history of the game in Gary Payton. So he helped in the playoffs. Positive impact!

Airemy, OTOH, contributed towards us losing the Portland series with his ill-timed blunders, that is when he was not being a mental midget and sitting out due to an "injury" in previous playoffs. He got abused by Mo Williams of all people lol. Negative impact!

I will never forget Airemy with that deer in the headlights look in the first playoff game against the Thunder. He was genuinely scared of being on the floor and got steam rolled. It was then that Morey had begun the process of trying to find a trade to get him out of Houston, but as he found out, the scrub on that contract was hard to move out. We didnt find a taker until a year until when Lakers came by, and we had to give them draft picks to get them to bite.

Disingenuous. Maloney was brought in specifically to space the floor, hit threes, and beat the Sonics. He played a tremendous role in doing exactly that. Keep lying LOF.
