Harden can defend most big forwards and is the same height as Tucker. This would open up a starting spot for Gordon and fill out the rotation with Tucker logging his minutes behind the 3,4,5. Rivers playing time goes up, too.

Harden spreads the floor even more for Westbrook and Westbrook rebounding helps Harden at the 4.

Coach gets is tight / small ball rotation:
    Westbrook, Gordon, House, Harden, Capela
    Rivers, Tucker

—> Chris Clemons may even get spot minutes in this lineup.
—> there would cameo appearances from the rest of the bench, too.

He would just move Tucker to center.

Imagine if Dantoni had the power to actually put that lineup on the floor and make his dream come true

The ideal person for a Dantoni lineup is a long athletic PF in the Shawn Marion mold.

    Harden as a “Forward”?? o_O

Last I heard, we play switch-defense.

Our defense is being run collectively, by a cast of “relatively” short players!!

    Mike's dream lineups:
    1st Unit: Westbrook-Rivers-Gordon-Harden-Tucker
    2nd Unit: Westbrook-McLemore-Gordon-House-Sefolosha

    Capela - DNP: Too Tall
    Anderson - DNP: Too Tall
Chandler - DNP: Too Old/Too Tall
    Clemons - DNP: Too Young
    Clark - DNP: Too Young
    Hartenstein - DNP: Too Young
    Frazier - DNP: Too Young
    Nene - DNP: Injured
    Gerald Green - DNP: Injured

The more point guards, the better.
We're just gonna play our game.
We don't adjust to them, they adjust to us.
Just had tired legs, a little fatigue.
    We'll be fine.
Everything's fine. Just gotta do a better job.

Pat Riley once said that the future of the NBA was a team of all 6’9” players. And this was when he had Kareem.

Why stop there? I'm expecting the 6'5" and under lineup soon: Harden at center, McClemore at PF, Gordon at SF, Westbrook at SG and Rivers at PG......or Clemons

    honestly.

    Harden should be playing PF.

In today's NBA it's kind of his natural position.

He has a huge wingspan at 6-11. He is too slow to defend quick guards. He has the strength to guard anyone. He's probably the strongest on the team.

I never knew that. No wonder he's impossible to guard.

EDIT: Apparently his wingspan isn't all that long for a player his size. What I wouldn't give to have the build to compete for an NBA paycheck...
