LMFAO This is such a Golden State and Steph Curry move.

He cannot handle the type of load the Warriors need him to so he just shuts down.

The Warriors get a high lottery pick that they can package with Russell at a later date for a star player to replace Durant.

I hope karma bites Curry in the ass and he just keeps breaking down.

So will the NBA make a statement? Can a player just be out for the season even if he could play? Since in normal jobs you have to get your ass back as soon as you’re good enough to do the job, then there’s no excuse for these millionaires to just sit. Should lose their money like regular folk.

There's nobody wanting to watch "normal" people do their "normal" jobs, though. If Bob the Accountant brought in fans that wanted to pay $$$ to see him balance the books, they'd let him take time off, too. :D

NBA will make a statement by rewarding them with a top 3-5 pick.

Actually, no they're not. They're basically paid for potential future or past performance for the most part. For most of them, whether they play well or not, they're going to get paid. The accountant, on the other hand, is paid to "account". And nobody wants to watch him do it. If he sucks at it, he'll be looking for another job. If NBA players were paid to play, it would be easy for the owners to just say "since you didn't play, I'm not going to pay you". lol. Y'all need to quit comparing sports contracts/salaries with "average joe" jobs.

Warriors are in full tank mode now. Doubt they will be held accountable for it as well. Watch Draymond suddenly be sidelined for the rest of the season with mysterious phantom injuries.

Maybe because he's supposed to be a professional who is being paid millions of dollars to play?
