    So, Ryno is.....free Love?

You can see how management flailed about over the summer trying to fill the 4 spot. Followed the same MO as last summer: sign a bunch of dreck to fill the roster; dreck plays well for 7 minutes in pre-season (see also: Cato, Kelvin) then shows under the klieg lights why they were otherwise unwanted.

Waive or trade dreck, pray for decent jettisoned player(s) to later become available for cheap.

    Lather, Rinse. Repeat.

That would be great. He can't be happy about losing his starting job to Deandre (though DJ just went down with an injury).

Aaron Gordon is such a perfect player in this system, Evan Fournier as a shooter off the bench.

Rockets really need more Forwards on this team.

Clint Capela hitch in his midrange and Free Throw, is not repairable, he mentally is broken, no confidence in shooting, only running and dunking. Basketball camps coaches in Switzerland must be garbage. Can't even teach big men to shoot when Clint was 12 - 18 years old.

Agreed. I wish Clint grew up in the US and was more of a stretch 5 like Dwight Howard.

    Basketball camps? Switzerland?

Stretch 5, as in, "can you please stretch your range out to 5 feet"?

I see your “Dwight Howard” and raise you a “Brook Lopez/Demarcus Cousins/Meyers Leonard”.

I wanted Brook or Meyers when they were available.

we need to trade Clint like 2 years ago since he disappeared in the playoffs against golden state. We needed to trade him before we payed him. I always felt he was too soft. He would get pushed by smaller players and even they would block him. Instead of going hard for dunks he tends to try to lay them in. Plus he loves to try to block every shot like just raise your hand and make it as tough as you can. Because whenever he jumps for the block he loses his position for rebounds. And then he also loves switching like he is the greatest perimeter defender, except he isn’t and they get an easy high percentage open shot.

Green has consistently bent him over while standing 4 inches shorter. You are correct when you say Clint is soft. Old man Dwight Howard would have probably put up more of a fight against green than Capillow did.

What's really alarming to me is that Giannis added muscle, while Clint looks like the same in his 3rd year to now. No muscle mass, looks a Small Forward, if he gets sick again, he will even more strength.

Capela fan here, from day 1.

But man, what a complex situation. The way we play now, we go against his biggest strengths. He has not developed rapport with Westbrook. Teams have been overplaying the oop because pur shooters can't hit anything. He seems, not happy, and he has not added anything else to his game.
yesterday he was not even contesting some layups at the rim.

Either we use him well or let's move him while he has value.

The sad part is that Boston really wants him, but they expect to have him for Theis (a more advanced german Hartenstein) and a pick. And we need help, like, right now.

Daryl Morey needs high IQ defending Forwards, 6'8 or above that can switch and shoot 3s. It's like the league overpays them and make them sit on the bench.

LeBron James friend James Jones overpaid Trevor Ariza to leave the Rockets for the Suns, LeBron conspiracy against James Harden.

P.J Tucker is going to get injured soon with his age and playing defense against bigger Forwards, a knee or leg injury is going to happen and Mike DAntoni not trusting anyone on the bench.

To have a 9 man rotation Mike needs a All Star Team to gain his trust. I still remember Montrezl Harrell as a rookie not playing against the Spurs, that sickens me still.

Clint is in year 6-7 now I believe. He likely won’t get significantly better.

Only badly managed teams want Capela now. He has a bad rep amongst the league for being soft.

We lose Clint, Harden loses 3 or 4 of his assists per game. On the other hand, Clint's defensive presence.........is what it is.

I'm not sure what Morey's plan was in the offseason when the Boston trade fell through. Who would play center? Sign some dude(s) on the cheap who pretty much give us what Capela gives? Keep going smaller and smaller until we have a backcourt of Austin Rivers and EGO?

I don't think he has any kind of soft reputation.
The problem is that he is well paid, without being able to space the floor, in a league where unless you are a superstar C, teams are only looking to sign bargain Cs- a completely undervalued position.
When a team like the Knicks with 10 bigs, will be able to trade them soon, the demand will be even lower.

This would be a Dream Lineup

    PG Russell Westbrook
    SG James Harden
    SF P.J Tucker
    PF Aaron Gordon
    C Mo Bamba
    SG Eric Gordon
    PG DJ Augustine
    SG Evan Fournier
    C Tyson Chandler
    SF Thabo Sefolosha

If the Raptors start losing this season, their players are perfect for the Rockets.
Paskal Siakam, Serge Ibaka, Marc Gasol, Patrick McCaw 6'8 SF, long wingspan

The Rockets really need to upgrade talent in the Frontcourt with Toughness, Athleticism, Length.
