Troy Brown is an interesting target for me when i think about Washington, i saw him in two games this summer and i think he's an intriguing player, he's still very young and needs to work on his shooting, but he's a versatile player on both ends who can do a little bit of everything, good rebounder too...i like his potential. I wonder if Washington would be willing to move him since they drafted Hachimura, at least if they plan to use him at the 3 since it's where Brown would have to play...especially after they basically gave away for free Porter and Oubre.

Isaac Humphries is free for the taking. He fills a need and is better than Clark / Anderson.

I don't know how many picks it would take to make this happen. His salary fits. He isn't a knock down shooter yet but i think he may be able to shoot closer to 35% with the wide open looks he would get here in Houston. I think he has more upside than Jerami Grant although that is debatable.
His defense may already be elite. I know it was just preseason, but this guy was locking down everyone from 2's to 5's. Orlando added Aminu this off season. They already have Gordon. I think that they would like for him to develop into more of a 3, but i still think he is a more natural 4/5.

This can be our answer defensively for Lebron/AD/Kawhi ect. I dont know if he is possible, but i would kick the tires if i am Morey. I may even consider moving PJ to make this happen if necessary.

    Nene+pick for Kings Richaun Holmes.

Dedmon & Bagley are the Kings centers. I could see Holmes being available. It would have to be after Dec 15th.

They love this kid. Why would they want to trade him to us?

I can't make it make sense from Orlando's perspective except for the fact their front court is so loaded. They like Aaron Gordon too, but fans kept throwing his name around all summer. I just cant find anyone else who fits our needs as well as someone who has a matchable salary. Someone like Jae Crowder may be our only realistic option without blowing up the core.

Yeah I get that. But they really like this kid. They'd probably trade AG because he has a higher trade value.

I'd rather have AG honestly. Better fit on Rockets.

Would this type of deal interest anyone? Sacramento and Memphis seem like realistic trade partners. Neither team is going anywhere. I hope it's not "too soon".

Bjelica can bring size and rebounding to the 4/5 spot. He shoots the 3 at over 40%. He has a favorable contract. He is an upgrade over this version of Ryno.

Holmes is currently shooting over 67% from the field. In just 23 minutes he is scoring about 11.5 points, 7 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks per game. His energy and his defense have really picked up over the last couple of seasons. He also has a favorable contract.

Crowder gives us another pit bull to help out PJ defensively. He makes hustle plays, sets great picks, wins 50/50 balls and would add grit and toughness to our second unit. Everyone knows what he provides.

A move like this isn't sexy but it would give MDA a few more small ball options. We would add much needed depth to our frontcourt and with a little tweak the team can remain under the tax(I think). Add the right 3 and D guy at the 3/4 or 4/5(preferably) via free agency or buyout and we would completely revamp our bench and improve our defense immediately.

This deal couldn't be done until 12/15 so there is plenty of time for Morey to evaluate the current roster (and Clint), then determine if a move like this would make sense.

    Westbrook/Rivers/Clemons
    Harden/Gordon/McLemore
    House/Crowder
    PJ/Crowder/Bjelica/Thabo
    Holmes/Bjelica/Chandler/Ryno

Capela + FRP to the Kings for Richaun Holmes, Bagdanovic (who the Kings might not want to pay) and Giles (who the Kings did not pick up his option)

And a continuously improving 25 year old double double with 60%+ FG that brings no drama and is locked up for the next 3 years isn’t?

Trading CC for Bogdanovic and Holmes at SAC is interesting, ultimately I'd want it to be a 3 team trade where we also send Memphis a 1st and Nene's 2.6m contract for Crowder. I don't really think Bogdanovic is all that though.

However I'm not sure what Sacramento is thinking with Bogdan. The rumours are they might look to trade before they have to pay him because they will already be locked into Hield's extension and the big contracts they are gonna give Fox and Bagley. Is there much point in trading him for Capela if Capela has another $50m+ guaranteed after this season anyway? Maybe they want a smaller salary and picks.
