Good point, I think it'sdown to the Jordan effect, or the Lebron effect to be a little more current. When LBJ went to Miami, were there endless questions as to whose team it was despite the fact that DWade was the alpha on that team prior to LBJ and Bosh's arrival. The non stop hot take culture that's started to overwhelm sports sations like ESPN and NBATV etc etc is a big reason some people get hung up on this stuff, gives them something to over analyze tbh. This is Harden's team, but it's also Russ' team as well, they are the two centerpieces and the stars that simple. Yeah JH's shooting has looked sketchy these first 2 games and Russ has been playing above most (to many of the trades detractors I'm guessing) peoples initial expectations, but as everyone has been pointing out the common goal of a championship should be the unifying goal for both of them and they are likely on the same page on that point. When Harden starts to get it together people will be back to "Is this Harden's Team again?. I think this happened back when Howard came here too didn't it ? It was Harden's team back then and quite frankly DH wasn't happy about that if I recall correctly, and as a result they started to slef destruct because of it. The one thing I do think that is a little different with Russ is he and JH have a close friendship which wasn't the case with DH and CP3 and that fact alone should make the "Who's team is it?" questions a little less relevant.

On an objective level I get wat u sayin...subjectively i don’t think u can look at the stats much less from 2 games to decide who was the leader
if it is WBs team... then he needs to show better leadership and get on that sg about moving and staying involved when he doesnt have the ball... team effort and all that.... LOL! i joke... i joke....
when we traded for westbrook, i knew this had the potential to be a very frustrating season.... but its frustrating in a much different way than i expected. westbrook has almost been a saving grace. its the players i thought i could count on the most who are playing like trash.
