I highly suggest watching Springer's HR in slower and slower speeds on YT. I've queued it up to the right time (2:44).

At 0.75 speed, his bat doesn't even seem to slow down compared to the entire rest of the picture.
At 0.5 speed, you get the hilarious slow motion call by Buck including a very long and definitive GOOOOOOD.................BYYYEEE.
At 0.25 speed, you can pinpoint the exact moment Hudson's heart rips in half.

Bonus: Their celebrations are hilarious at 2x speed.

If I've hit the whiskey bottle than lagers are nice for day drinking. Otherwise I need a strong brew

Definitely don't want to turn this into a political discussion, but after reading the articles and watching the video of Trump being booed at the game, I was curious on how the voting split was in DC during the last election. Definitely surprised to find it was 90% Hillary to 4% Trump, but I guess that explains why he got booed so hard :p Only 300k voters in a small geographical region, so maybe not so surprising, but still found it interesting.

ESPN can shove it up their collective asses. The pitch was barely outside and a 50-50 call by the home-plate umpire. It’s nothing to be whining about.

I was specifically talking about drinking beerwater while camping and floating the river in the heat and drinking for 18 straight hours. You can't do that with real beer unless you're a pinky-out beersipper. And of course there's a bottle hanging around for the random schnort. Maybe a puff or 3 also as needed.

As someone said, Texans' made their sacrifice to Sports gods for the Astros to win the WS. 2017, it was Deshaun Watson (1 day after the clinching game). Seems like JJ Watt is the sacrifice for 2019. I guess we can thank the Bags4HOF twitter account for starting this.

It's not over, but seems the sacrifice has been made...

If every Watt injury was a championship sacrifice, the Astros and Rockets would have a lot more rings.

I hope the Watt sacrifice this year works out like the Watson one did in '17.

My apologies, just trying to say I was actually surprised at the reaction, since I didn't expect it to be so loud and evident in the videos. I figured in order to get this level of reaction that DC would need to be super skewed, so provided the numbers that I found for anyone else who may have been surprised at this kind of reaction. Anyways, I'll drop the subject.

    'stros in 6 :D
