    While he may be right on some of his points, this Josh Hawley senator seems to be nothing more then an attention seeker. One day he's leading a vocal crusade against Facebook and Google. The next he says he wants to heavily regulate video games. And now this.

    My guess? I don't know Hawley but I suspect this is just a way to distract from the sh** job he's doing as senator

    He just like getting his name in the news. One day he is proposing heavy regulations on google and facebook. The next he is proposing heavy regulations on video games. You know which country happens to have similar strict regulations on social media and video games like the ones he proposed? China.

    That's pretty funny a guy "crusading for freedom for Hong Kong" also wants to regulate platforms like facebook because they have opinions that may lean a certain way that he doesn't like. The irony here is hilarious if it weren't so sad.

    This is becoming really entertaining and sad. All the dumb Americans who think they know what goes on around the world and have a twisted nationalistic trait that they ironically criticise Chinese, Russians and others for. Also the use of the term “communism” as if it’s still the 1960s is just too funny.

    This is thankfully out of Silver's hands at this point.(ergo the second statement) Too much light about right! The American public (not just sports fans), politicians, the world...
    It's bigger than hoops or revenues.

    As great a GM as he is, our boy has entered a different realm. His legacy will not only be defined by what happens on the hardwood now.

    It is also funny how Hawley didn't seem to have any issue when Trump congratulated and praised the China Communist Party on their 70th birthday but then unloads on the NBA for saying they are sorry for offending China.
