Is Harden a hypocrite for groveling to China for the $$?

    Every African American millionaire athlete likes to villify the police and complain about America, the country that pays them millions, yet stay silent about China because they won't get paid if they do so.

    Shouldn't the concept of liberty be universal? Isn't that what anti-slavery leaders fought for?

    This is something that really needs to be discussed if we care about equality.

    No one cares about equality. We only care about equality when it relates to us. We care about police because they affect us. We care about racism because that affects us. China didn't do anything to black Americans or white Americans or even Chinese Americans. That's why no one cares (really care). Especially when caring means losing your job and millions of dollars.

    Yes he is.

    He supports civil rights movements wearing black lives matters and I can't breath t-shirt and all that, and at the same time supported with his words "I am sorry" a regime that exterminates people and destroys freedom of speech.

    I hope he gets better educated before he hurries to open his mouth.

    If he already knows about the situation, then I can safely say that he is a w**** for money.

    Harden doesn’t even know anything about Hong Kong.

    all he knows is that China is angry at Morey. If u asked him to tell u why he thinks China is so upset, I doubt he could tell u.

    he should’ve just said nothing since he wasn’t educated on the subject and didn’t even know what he was actually apologizing for

    Nice to see someone brave enough to tell it like it is.

    He knows where the money comes from , and he knows he can say whatever he wants in America and make more of it if he does.

    However, that's not the case with China so the POV changes.

    Hypocrisy is the death of social change at any level... real activists should just distance themselves from sports and etnertainment.

    Shaquille O'Neal, Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods, when have you heard them complain about anything?

    Also african americans actually BUILT America from ground up, so asians, hispanics & other ethnic groups can come here. Yet you're the one complaining. Does that make you a hypocrite?

    Trash thread. Harden was simply trying to help out Morey. He meant he loves China fans not China. There is a reason Harden stays out of the political discourse.
