So if the 2.6mm base stays but the 7+mm in bonuses is excluded...sounds to me like its a 2.6 contract with no incentives.

it gives bennett a slight boost in actually making the team. i didn't think they would carry both ryno and him if nene would be able to play at any time if needed. but they're already giving nene the "injury" tag so, they may just carry both of them now
I feel the presence of Anderson is more damaging to Bennett. Basically the same role. And Anderson is a VET that MDA loves. Bennett is going to have to have a GREAT camp to make the team. To make Morey make the final call as a GM to put faith in young/upside versus MDA's love of Vets for the short term.
well yeah once ryno signed, that was a done deal for bennett to me. but now that nene won't be playing for a minute, that why i think bennett will get a boost in opportunity to actually make the final roster. its not like these guys aren't easy cuts later down the line if needed
