Who cares? Really? He's some random guy that did something stupid. There are plenty of racial crimes that don't get reported too. There are plenty of crimes that just don't get reported and the reason is always that it simply isn't interesting enough for the public. If this was some famous actor doing this it'd be national news, as it is it's just some random guy that you wouldn't know about otherwise or care about otherwise. We don't need petty anecdotes to show how the "firearms solves all problems" right wing base is more prone to DEADLY violence than left wing extremists. We have actual data for ideolgically inspired murders in the US.
You act as if there aren't MAGA goons, as if all Trump supporters are good decent people. We had a MAGA supporter try to blow up democratic leaders, he seemed to be willing to go very far, further than this guy. Either way, there are goons on both sides, I'd argue that one side has more but whatever. My point here is that it isn't a surprise no one covered this because it simply isn't an interesting story. The Smollet case was similar to this and was covered nationally and became a household story.
What if I told you that a “right wing nut job” that committed one of these mass shootings that further the outlaw of guns debate was just a better actor? Smollett is still a free man, my case rests.
Sounds like you're partial to some conspiracy theory which I won't entertain. Also, Smollet had his charges dropped, so that makes him a free man (Along with it not being severe enough to put him in prison). Nothing wrong with having charges dropped, right? Trump seems to be a fan of that at least.
I think we can applaud the black and brown communities for not having a culture that encourages their young men to commit mass shootings in public places with assault weapons. What is @Senator doing to help fix that issue within his community?
