I think benching him or making him inactive on game day would have sent the message. The annoying thing is this fake tough guy routine doesn't make sense since we know they had Colvin last year, training camp, and preseason. They knew what they had in him and yet put him out there with the game on the line. if he was bad enough to be cut today he should have been bad enough not to make the team. They had all the information to make that decision before last night.
