Nothing a bit of special forces training can’t fix.

Well he's definitely the best boxer of the three in the video based on the mitt work.

He's an endomorph and has a hard time keeping off the belly. Who cares, as long as he plays like he did last year?

I mean it would help his longevity to play at a elite level in his 30s if he trimmed down a bit. Less stress on the joints. That is a valid desire I think from a fan's perspective.

He has a couple of months to get back into top shape. He has access to the best trainers and dietitians. He should be able to do it. And from the looks of it he is trying. Just wonder what his diet looks like.

And no he isn't fat. He's just not as lean as a traditional NBA level athlete.

Do you think it would prolong his prime if he got leaner? Obviously not having a bf% less than 12% is not hindering him from being one of the best players in the game besides sputtering a bit in efficiency towards the end of a long grueling season in the playoffs but do you think it would beneficial for his career to get learner?

He seems to be trying so I'm not complaining.

Maybe. But what he is doing seems to be working for him.

James has always been on the thicc side. If he has to lean out later on I'm sure he will.

(fyi I don't think he looks fat, looks like regular nba offseason stuff to me)

He's definitely not fat. He's just not ultra lean like other superstar guards of the past like Jordan and Kobe.

A large part of their longevity was due to maintaining their weight and bf%. I just don't want Harden to start sputtering by the time he's 33.

His ability to take the beating he takes, be as strong and injury-free as he has can be directly related to his size. I woudln't have him lean out any and if anything be a little on the thick side which is the Harden we see every year.
