Wasn't so much his weight than it was his ruptured achillies.

Yeah he was an iron man for most of his career and then the Achilles happened. He rushed his rehab and that put stress on other parts of his lower body. Over compensating just cascades.

Pretty much. It's not surprising that all of his injuries have been lower body since then and I believe they all occurred on the same leg

Yeah and his achilles is a muscle that bears the burden of his weight. At the end of the day almost every leg injury ties back to weight thats why big dudes like Shaq and Yao have short careers whereas slim guys like Reggie Miller, Vince Carter have long careers. Its also why Lebron slimmed down significantly he wants to play longer.

Somehow Royce White is going to get involved in this and stand up for Boogie.

The Achilles is a tendon not a muscle. It’s possible that being slimmer may have helped but that’s no guarantee. Durant is pretty slender and he blew the hell out of his Achilles. Also Wall Thomas and Kobe ruptured theirs. Shaq, Duncan, Yao etc are far from slender but have never blown theirs (as far as I know).

Achilles ruptures seem to be more related to repetitive explosive movements over time rather than simply a person’s weight.

I don't think so. He was always losing his temper on the court. I don't think there is anything else I can remember not liking him for. Too bad for him. I hope he gets it together. Perhaps have a Shaun Livingston type career at some point.

He deserves to be arrested for robbing hundreds of millions of dollars from himself by signing those shitty contracts.
