Since D Morey took the pink slip to everyone after last season and then hired Elston Turner, who else have they hired on their coaching staff? The preseason is 42 days away.

fwiw: Not "everyone" was let go. Gunning and Brase are still with the team, as is John Lucas (Irv Roland's boss). Gunning and Brase are two of the four main ones last year (listed at B-R.com).

It was Byzdelik, Rogers and then a lessor assistant (Mitch Vanya, Basketball Operations) and the video coordinator (Cho, which Blair does, too), plus Player Development coordinator Irv Rolands. Rolands was really just for Harden, right, working under John Lucas.

Whatever James Harden Needs There's a Rockets Coach for That <-- the NYTimes article about all the coaches

Also, keep in mind that Chuck Hayes is a Rockets scout. Willing to bet he might transition either to John Lucas' team to replace Roland, or to the bench.

any new on Hayes' role? @Clutch

I lol every time I see our professional league coaches being forced to sit in chairs that face sideways such as Matt, John, Mitch, and Devan have to do in this photo (and every home game for that matter). It's absolutely ridiculous.

No way Tilman gives up the potential revenue on 4 seats that are behind those men to allow them the space to sit forward like everyone else... even though they are coaches trying to analyze the game and jot down notes and all... imagine being them sitting sideways and having to look back and forth as players run up and down to each side of the court smh and we thought our organization was about efficiency.

Maybe Tilman hiring budget coaches will allow him to afford normal forward facing chairs for our coaches next season

a cost-effective solution to save tilman even more $$$ would be to bore some shoulder-wide holes along the side of the court there for each of our asst coaches to occupy, and then they could just follow the games via individual periscopes peeping up above the woodplane

Fredo Tilman will make the assistant watch from Locker room to prepare for recession. Those seats are $$$$

Meet coach Harden, coach Westbrook and coach PJ Tucker. They will be running whatever they want.

True. Soon Tillman will force them to sit on each other's laps.
