    So this HOF pitcher cant be too familiar. He also can’t be unfamiliar. Has to be just the right mix of familiarity to be expected to pitch well.

    His teammates and "history" absolutely do not care that a HOF pitcher has struggled a bit in a handful of innings, no.

    2 runs in 6 innings is a 3.00 ERA, which is excellent. For a team as stacked at the plate as the Astros, that should be a nearly-guaranteed win every time, barring bullpen shenanigans.
