That was YOU! Ganked my helmet, prolly my bat too. Summmbich. So, basically, I get all my stuff done by 3:00, then cruise home and watch 2 baseball games? God Bless America.
Unless it's a proper doubleheader, announced in advance, on a "day/night doubleheader", or a "makeup dh", they will run you out of the stadium and then run the ticketholders back in for the 2nd game.
Anyone else still pissed at Osuna for ruining these last couple days? I mean I'm obviously still very happy the way the team has been performing but I just can't shake that crap ending until they win again. Seeing non-stop Yankees highlights against the same Orioles on Sportscenter is pissing me off.
Stuff like this has got to be a real PITA for Hinch. The broadcast crew, usually Julia, has done quite a few excellent interviews with him about his managerial approach. He's hyperaware of the physical status of every player on team and spends a lot of his time trying to keep everyone in the right balance of enough playtime and enough rest. Now, he gets thrown a grueling day in high humidity for his guys that are nearly back to full health and right towards the beginning of an extremely long stretch of games with no breaks. Get a real ballpark with a roof, White Sox.
I’m pissed that he put a guy on base with such a weak retaliation pitch. First off you don't do that if it jeopardizes you winning the game but if you’re going to do it then do it with more of a statement and you better make sure you shut the rest of the hitters down. I’m also pissed that the play at home plate was not challenged.
**** happened. JV gave up 9H and 4R in 5 innings to the light hitting Orioles. That’s disturbing too but it’s baseball. There’s no more Mariano Rivera or anyone close to him in mlb anymore. Diaz and Treinen were probably the 2 best closer last year and both struggled mightily this year. Treinen even lost his closer role in Oakland. If u think Astros fans are hard on Osuna, imagine how Dodgers fans feel about Jansen. Even Chapman has 5 blown saves so far this year.
