we suck at rebounding so he'll get his 10 he'll easily get 10pts per game he should be able to get 10 assists as long as he gets enough minutes, especially if harden plays like he did in year 1 with cp3
They can co-exist doing just that. WB pushes the tempo early and attacks the rim , Capela , Tucker , House , Rivers , EG all get up the court in a hurry. Harden's the trailer …. if nothing materializes from the initial probe of the defense by WB , kick it to Harden and let him go to work in either pick and roll or ISO sets - That's going to be much more difficult to defense with defenses having been tested early in the clock by WB & co rather than what we saw much of last year - Just Harden walking it up against a set defense. Basically its two different offenses in the same possession … 7 seconds or less and analytics ball.
Triple doubles that include Turnovers? Hmmm idk, if the team wins the more the merrier but if it's to the detriment of the team.. then no thanks!
I have a better question. How often do triple doubles equal wins? That's all that matters in the end.
Don't have the updated numbers but Russ triple double = usually Thunderz wins https://clutchpoints.com/thunder-news-won-games-russell-westbrook-triple-double/ https://stats.nba.com/articles/by-the-numbers-westbrook-records-100th-triple-double https://in.nba.com/news/denver-nugg...-double-comparison/1qu7d8iidpx7x13kxgqfcg6psh MOAR TRIPLE DOUBLES! MOAR WINS!
This is the mentality i want to see from Rockets fans and our players. Sacrifices for the team and for the Wins. Harden, Westbrook and Eric Gordon in a sense should not care about personal accolades at this point. If they want to be Legends at this point it is all about how many championship rings they have on their hand.
Probably right on this … but CP3 did average 8.2 per last year while Harden averaged 7.5. Not a real stretch that either of them have double digit assists on any given night , just not on any regular basis and doubtful enough to get 25 triple doubles. Think I take the under on this one.
I think he can still average double digit rebounds …. Only Capela and Faried averaged more than 8 last year and they averaged 42 as a team while OKC averaged 48. It'll be the assists that are harder to come by , assuming Harden is still the "main" facilitator.
Maybe not. See the 80’s Lakers. Cap wasn’t running. If they couldn’t catch something on the break then they fed him in the post.
