Tyson Chandler joins HOU

with WB's contract extending one more year past CP3's, tilman has the same repeater tax excuse now to stay out of the lux tax this coming season. odds are he goes with that claiming that if we don't act responsibly today, then 4 seasons from now it will be catastrophe!

 

yeah it was faulty logic then and will be again now. you go all in while they're young! duck the tax in WBs last season after the window closes!

 

What's the over/under on games (minutes) for Chandler this year?

Ill take the over at 30mins per game. He will make Capela obsolete.

 

If everything goes right probably 12 MPG and 50 games. If he ever plays more than 18-20 minutes it's a mistake. He still effective when he plays, but he needs to be handled with care.

Frankly I expect him and Hartenstein to platoon as the backup 5 to start the season. Hopefully he plays well enough that we don't need Chandler by years end.

 

I disagree, rather keep him fresh during regular season. Will need him in post season.

Am I the only one that finds it weird that Morey has welcomed House, Rivers, and Chandler but has been silent on Westbrook?

 

Those were signings. Westbrook situation is a trade that has to be made official... He'll do a big welcome Westbrook when Tillman forks out the Money for Westbrook day. Knowing Westbrook who thought he'd retire in OkC.. he's probably still settling affairs over there by packing up the house and selling things over there and looking for a place to move in Houston.

In all seriousness , we should def give hartenstein plenty of chances to grab the majority of backup mins . He's got athleticism and upside Tyson doesn't have anymore .
