    I chuckled.

I’m curious as to how fans will react. Will we just howl yet still give the organization our money or will we refuse to pay for their entertainment?

So quiet on buying draft picks and so calm on signing free agents both last summer and now.

    Still have MLE.

    Shumpert/2026 second for Crowder.,

It would cost tilman 11 million dollars.

Never buy tickets! Only watch Rockets on illegal streams (opposing team feed) and buy knock-off merch and discounted Westbrook OKC jerseys and write over the OKC part with permanent markers!

We can only hope for a scandal forcing him to sell. I’m sure a loudmouth like him has skeletons in the closet. Harden going to leave soon.

I doubt you can afford cable, jerseys or tickets anyways.

That history looks a touch troubling to my uneducated eye. Before it was placed in storage, its last operator was a now defunct Thai air charter company, which operated the a/c for 5 years before mothballing it in 2018. Which is when they ceased operations. I'm sure a struggling 3rd World air charter company totally kept up with all of the preventative maintenance and corrosion remediation. I mean, to do otherwise would be unsafe!

I hope Fertitta didn't cheap out on refurbishing the a/c and overhauling/inspecting the engines.

How long did the NBA tolerate Donald Sterling and his behavior? Fertitta will be fine, as far as the league is concerned, so long as the checks don't bounce and he keeps making everyone else money.

Bounce checks? Then he gets treated like George Shinn.

Until the last year of WB's deal, Fertitta hasn't spent anymore money to do that trade. Westbrook and Paul made the same amount of money. In fact, this trade is a perfect excuse for Fertitta to raise prices, and market that "Come see the NBA team with 2 MVPs!"

The Rockets probably make money on this deal. As for the last year of WB's contract, how many more draft picks will it take to move his corpse to a team desiring a mega-expiring deal? I.e., the Rockets may not end up being on the hook for all or any of that final year.

“We’re saving the MLE to be aggressive in the buyout market”

    That’s what’s they’ll say. Too predictable.

it wasn't an expectation but as a Rocket fan it was certainly a hope. Thanks for Lol-ing at my hopes.
As a fan you always have hope that your team will do whatever is necessary to try to win and when it doesn't happen you adjust your expectations or you move on to another team (I guess you could also just lol at other people like Nelson from the simpsons)

17m for Iggy with a S&T of Shump wasn't going to happen without giving a 1st to Memphis. We knew that a long time ago, they are willing to sit on him unless they get a 1st. There's no way the Rockets would value paying him that much and giving up a 1st.

RoCo would be a great pickup, but Minny wanted us to swap Capela or EG+small contract for 2 years 33m of Dieng. That's definitely not happening.

What else was on the table insiders?
