Not a doubt. Embarrassing and sad.

I’m holding out for the Shumpert sign and trade but I’m doubting it

I thought they'd include Patrick "Pitter" Patterson. I made a bunch of very realistic photoshops of him in a Rockets jersey for nothin'. Waste of my god-given talents. Smh.

    They should be doing both.

If they couldn't expand this to get a better player because of availability or cost (which is totally believable) then they should have brought back 2Pat and re-signed Shump so you'd have salaries to aggregate later in the year.

This is getting dangerous. If they let Shump walk it will be devastating. They'll have no salaries of any note to trade out other than starters.

This makes sense. Deadlines make deals and there was only a deadline for Houston.

As well I don't really blame them for not taking on someone just to take on someone. Bima said the other day the cost of taking on Iggy with luxury tax considerations is 48-52 million. At this point in the game you have to be deliberated.

In the end, i'm in the **** Tilman camp at this point, and i'm pretty damn sure with one/two 1st rounders and sweeteners we should be able to get a good enough player to either start or come off the bench giving us a sixth man kind of production, if this doesn't happen by the trade deadline, then Tilman will be 100% exposed.

Tilman knee capped a potential championship team because he was worried about a repeater tax in three years. F that guy. He deserves zero benefit of the doubt.

Welp. The Georgia Dieng Movement died as fast as it had risen.

We were stupid to even consider the possibility that Tilman would take on those salaries.

    "Deep into the tax"
    "Bust the budget"

    Yeah right.

Not taking on extra salary/players in this trade was probably just a freak accident like how Tilman accidentally directed Morey to dump assets to duck the Luxury Tax last year. We sure are lucky!

This should show everyone how the rest of the league sees CP3 and his contract at this point. You know the hold up was his contract.
