Danilo Galinari - 44% catch and shoot 3 pointer - 52% on wide open 3s - .633 true shooting - elite free throw shooter and foul drawing - versatile 3/4 - stout isolation defender - Morey has been after him for a long time and we know he eventually gets his guy - Presti owes us one for all those picks
MDA loves him too but why would OKC give him up? They gave up very good young player in Jerami Grant to ensure he got all the PF minutes.
Wasn't he hurt most of that series? I think there was one game where he got hot and did some damage from outside. He can play. EDIT: Never mind, Gallinari played real minutes in every game. I must have been thinking of someone else. He had some good shooting nights. 100% agreed. I think Grant was an under-the-radar steal for Denver. He can defend multiple positions, knock down threes, and do a lot of the little things/dirty work that good teams need and Denver was sorely lacking last year.
don't know if he was hurt but that could be the reason. and that also points to another reason i don't want him -- dude is always injured!
LOL yeah I'm sure Presti's just going to do HOU a solid because HOU gave up draft picks in the Westbrook trade.
They give him up because he helps them win games. OKC has to be a lotto team the next few years or they lose their picks to ATL I believe. They are in full rebuild and will follow the Hinkie model the next few years. Last thing they want is CP3 and Gallo getting minutes and hitting shots.
we can't afford him tilman just got fined. he doesn't fit under the tax unless we trade some combo of gordon, tucker, and / or capela. not worth it. if tilman somehow wins the lotto and we could pay the tax. not gonna happen this year.
He is an unrestricted FA after this season. He’s not going to cost nearly as much as Love, Covington, etc.
So OKC going to give away Shae Gilgeous Alexander too? SGA is their best player with most upside. Silly to give away Grant because he was too good.
